They just have so much simple charm these old Matchless singles... It's a shame they went out of business, I always thought they should have exploited the demand for simple rugged bikes in the Asian markets - after all Royal Enfields were and still are so popular in places like India, Taiwan and so on...oh well it was not to be and there are still a good few around for us to enjoy still.... Neat little video - thanks for uploading...

I agree. The twins weren’t great, but the simple singles were. To keep prices down produce them in the colonies, Hong Kong or Singapore.
