This 1961 Peugeot has a 4 speed column shift manual transmission. These 4 speed column shifts were rare compared to the many 3 speed column shift cars of that era. The Mercedes Benz cars of that time period were also available with 4 speed column shift manual transmissions

Nice car , the sound reminds me of my '59 Dauphine. I'm curious about the engine, how many main bearings does it have ? Is it a short stroke design ?
