I almost bought a 1966 model but a hardtop in 1977. 40,000 miles,mint,still had the thick plastic on the seats from the factory. $600.00. Those days are gone.

0:10 I'm confused about the "a completely custom just sold for $660,000 at Auction a few weeks ago" Price and the current $83,998 selling price. Was it an overpriced Auction sale? Why the large difference in the 2 prices? Restored in 2009.

A triple black 62 sold at the Mecum auction but it was a full resto with incredible upgrades. Completely custom rebuild. Beautiful car. He was just saying it was the same year, model and color of the one that sold

What a mistake having 22 inch tires and those obnoxious wheel covers. Not very original and probably pretty costly to put the wheel assemblies and undercarriage back to original. But hey if you like modified originals , go for it..
