2:31 Car just casually hitting the access road hump in the corner and 3-wheeling it around. God bless early stock car racing.

Was at that race. I was 12 and it was good back then and it still feels good to watch.

Grand stands are fully occupied. People watching race, talking with each other, and no freaking smart phones in their hands. That's real good. 😆😀

Wow, looks like the camera picked up a couple of cars hitting a significant bump somewhere between Turns 1 and 2.

These guys don’t seem all that nervous about racing, they seem to be having fun. I guess racing a stock car at a one mile oval is a bit safer than running an open wheel car at the same place.

Man I wish they would have documented all of the great USAC Stock races of the 50s, 60s, and 70s like they did this one. Packed houses and hot battles. I would have loved to see those Superbirds vs. Talledegas vs. Chargers . The cars were jaw dropping.

Don White, always a threat at the front back in the 1960s into the early 1970s. Two-time national champion (1963, 1967) and all-time winningest driver in this series with 52 career wins.

Anyone know what the specs of a USAC stock car were in comparison to a NASCAR stock car? Nascar's weight has been 3700 pounds forever, and they shortened the wheelbase sometime around 1981, IIRC.
@Scarecrow-skate-racing-videos9 ай бұрын
I just watched the race from IRP road course from 1967 and they said the cars were 4,000 pounds but I'd say these cars are a little smaller. Maybe not.
