A "real mans ride"? How so? To your mind, what makes this car a "real mans" car. Moreover, what to your mind is a "real man"? Just curious.

@s.hooper4683 Жыл бұрын
@@StreetTruckinTitan, no, not to be overthought but as I have built/owned more then 100 cars and or trucks over the years, I've found that bolting a 500+ horse power engine (per the title of this video) into a 2500 pound car is pretty impractical for anything save for it's obvious ability to do some pretty impressive burnouts. Case in point. Years ago, I bought a '55 ford small window short bed (one of many I should have kept) with no motor/trans. I decided that instead of doing the right thing and putting a 302/4speed in it that would have pushed it along just fine, I would install the 460/C6 I had out of a '73 Lincoln I had built sitting in the back of the garage. Result: there wasn't a set of rear tires of any size that I couldn't run bald in one evening in any gear I wanted to. Fun? Yes, but totally impractical. Some guy came by and offered me 5x what I had in it including the purchase price so I sold it and moved on to my next project. Sorry for the long winded response but it seemed necessary. Anyway, to each their own. Your money. Build what you want with it.

Someone explain to me why the '69 351W block is better the a '70 - later 351W block. I personally don't use the Windsor engine for anything over 320 CI or so as the 351C -2V is easier (for me) to work with in building streetable horsepower without the obnoxiously long stroke of a Windsor. This is a nicely done car to be sure. The workmanship looks clean from what I see here and from what the owner said, he apparently spared no expense in getting it done. Just not real practical for street use but hey, that's just my opinion.

Looking at what is left of original dash, this looks to have been originally an inline 6 car. So was never a Sprint as all those were V8 cars (though you could get a Futura with the 260 V8 just like Sprint or the I6 as this car likely had). Door tag or vin stamp would confirm original engine.
