Currently doing a van restore myself. The fuel gauge not working could be a result of a deteriorated fuel sending unit. Mine was rusted after sitting for about 10 years. Part number AAU8340 and it is located on the front side of the tank (same side as fuel pump) and is easily accesible from underneath.
