Hi guys! Thanks for tuning in! This week I'm off to the GCFCE to check out Dan's latest find: a 1963 Chevy Biscayne, like the one his parents drove many years ago... Agent 7678 has been looking for a good project example for a long time and here it is! We'll have a look and see if we can get it to turn over... of course we'll be back again to see if it'll run! A quick preview of the 1960 Chevy Impala / Biscayne splice, and Agent 024 is here and we're going to pour a pad for the hoist installation coming soon! I have been trying to get my old Honda painted for a while now, and I finally got a chance to put some candy red on it this week... Check out our new 1937 Chevy T-shirt; only available for a couple of weeks! It's at coldwarmotors.com Our 8mm film is back from the developer; I'll be including bits of it in the next several weeks' videos... Hope you enjoy these clips; I cropped them to fit this time. Special thanks to Steve Dean and Niagra Film Labs in Toronto. Thanks to everyone who subscribed to our channel here, and thanks also for all of your "likes" and comments! Please feel free to check out our Patreon page at : www.Patreon.com/coldwarmotors where we have extra videos and pictures and a bunch of people hanging out and bs-ing about cars! We have set up a Paypal Donations Page if you'd like to help out the cause here... Very much appreciated! Here is the link: www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted... Have you thought of completing the collection with one of each color? The green is a nice green. Almost a British Racing Green, with a hint of lime softening it, it appears. No blue. "In 1971, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer launched the Honda CB 750 Four K1, a motorcycle in its last year of production, powered by a four-cylinder air-cooled engine and available in one of four color schemes, such as Candy Ruby Red, Candy Gold, Valley Green Metallic, or Candy Garnet Brown."

Saturday night 🌙 and CWM 🏁 Cheers 🍻 Absolutely love the , black and white vignettes 8mm opening And overhead scene Looking forward to the , Impala/Biscayne Splice I personally would save that 4dr post car , and scavenged Tom's 2dr but , it's your labor hours and content I see that 72 Plymouth Suburban wagon 👀 💖 Those were definitely , daily drivers and driven into the ground . I guess , it's a testimony too how versatile and reliable they were , back in the day So thankful for friends with construction 🚧 equipment , skills and volunteering 🙋♂️ Thanks Andy , Myles and Justin You could always cover that service lift , with a steel/metal Garage . Those are still available and "affordable" Nice thick concrete pad , to properly supply that service hoist I've got to be honest Scott I wasn't a fan of that particular color until , I watched you apply it . That Honda CB750 is coming out MINT !!!! That color is Beautiful !! Dan's 63 Biscayne is beautiful !! The patina is phenomenal !! 4dr , post , 3 on the tree , radio delete , inline 6 cylinder 230 , 2 and 2 tail lights , dog dish wheel covers !! That car is so base ❤ it could start a jazz band !! The trunk drops & quarters are decent too . Look at the grill, it's MINT . The engine isn't leaking a crude of oil either . Remington tires , haven't heard that brand is decades Time to pull that cylinder head For further diagnostic , gentlemen That'll run again 💪💪

I can’t really grasp the kind of character that would have scrimped that much on a new car, but now 61 years later makes an awesome statement. In my mind I would have just bought a slightly used but fancier Impala for about the same money. Just rambling! Cheers!

But the forward look mopars were also absolutely incredible. My favourites: The Chrysler 300 brutes, the Plymouths of 57 to 59 and the incredibly stunning 59 Dodge models.

You never have a successful concrete pour without getting some in your boot. Nice foundation for the lift. Your painting skills are phenomenal man. Those parts turned out great. The 63 Impala is so sweet. My uncle had one back in the day with the add on AC unit under the dash. They were such great cars. You could carry 6 people comfortably on vacation. It brings back some great memories. Definitely want to see it running. Those engines had a unique sound to them. It makes me want to get one. Cheers and now I have to get the shirt, which looks great by the way.

That '63 Biscayne is an absolute sweetheart! I love that color, Autumn Gold is so early 1960s. The red interior is a great mate to it, it's got to stay (redone of course). I know where there is a huge NOS roll of that Biscayne fabric in Red too. The lift is going to be amazing when finished (I'm jealous...I would LOVE a lift, but alas...no room). I'm 100% on board for these sketchy body swaps and splices. Full steam ahead! I just fired one of my two Flathead V8 T roadster ls tonight (the other tomorrow), I'll have to get my channel back going again. Summer T Time here will of course include my CWM 'T Shirt' for sure. That is the first engine that I ever cracked in to. My dad and I did a head gasket on a '68 Chevelle 4dr with a 250 glide that was my mom's car when I was about 12 (around 1977). That car ended up being the hand-me-down first car I ever started, ever drove, ever stole (haha when they weren't home), I took my driving test in it, and owned. I had it until about 2004, when I sold it to a neighbor due to getting divorced and didn't have anywhere to keep it. ...update, after not seeing it since then, about 2 weeks ago I saw it sitting in the driveway of the guy I sold it to...that lives about a half a mile away. I am currently 59 yrs old, and can't believe that car still exists.

What a lucky find in that 1963 Biscayne. Good for Dan! The 230-CID inline six reminds me of a 1963 Impala that I know of on the south side of Chicago, and have seen at a distance of maybe 15 meters. It was being maintained at a local garage specializing in classics. It’s a dark red sport couple with the dark red interior, and has Powerglide, power steering, bucket seats and console, AM radio and a few other minor features. But the kicker is that the trim package is Super Sport! The garage manager did research and found it’s 1 of only 7 ‘63 Super Sports in dark red, having a 6-cylinder engine, all special orders. The car has been in the same family since new. Grandfather who purchased it is long gone. I’d think it’d be a hot item at “cruise nights” but the family that owns it is very protective of it.

Sweet 63 Chevy! That was the year that Chevy goofed and put a longer trim strip on the Biscayne than the Bel Air. That car might be a Champagne Gold, a greenish brownish medium gold metallic. That was a very popular color in 63 at GM, Ford and Rambler. Aunt Ethel had a gold and white Rambler Classic and Aunt Mary and Uncle Lewis had a gold and white Ford Galaxy. Interesting that it has a red interior, most gold cars had a gold or tan interior. I like it. I will be watching Thursday, when I am sure that they will be driving it around. Cheers all.

Another stellar collective effort put forth on the hoist slab: remarkable work by all who contributed here. Dan’s ‘63 Biscayne acquisition is yet another gem of a car on par with his ‘53 Olds and ‘53 Caddie although the Chevy isn’t as rare as those two from a decade earlier. Sure there’s others who before tuning into CWM had no awareness of these machines; I was fortunate to have grown up in an er when they were still on the road. CWM is doing a great service to those not as fortunate as I.

Glad you brought up the 72 Sport Suburban. I had a dream last week that it was a fish tank ! A cartoon fish tank. Like in Finding Nemo. Each of the fish had the face of one of your agents. Tom was a catfish. Dean was an algae eater who lived in a beer can and burped bubbles a lot. Scott was an bass. Myles was a yellow perch who lived under a Fury dog dish hubcap. It was really a pretty funny dream. I gotta quit drinking beer and eating pastrami sandwiches before bed. 👊😎👍

Good job on the pad guys. I bet there were some sore backs after that job! The paint on the Honda parts is yummy! My Uncle bought his first car in 1964 from Edmonton Motors. A brand new 64 Biscayne with a six in it. He was so proud. He lived in Calgary and another Uncle made all the arrangements so he just had to take the Greyhound up to Edmonton and get to Edmonton Motors and drive home. Some kid on a bicycle put a tiny scratch on the trunk when it was parked off the alley behind his house. By the end of the week he had a garage! You really brought back some memories! Thanks to Dan. Great episode. Thank you Scott and the team!!

Scott is one step closer to having a fully-equipped auto restoration shop.:) That '63 Biscayne is a classic example of an uncluttered engine compartment.

Looking forward to this Biscayne coming alive soon. Thumbs up GCFCE. I am ordering the shirt - nice design.
