Could had got $5000 as it sits right now for that car

I ran a salvage yard. I had quite a few vintage cars come in, barn finds, old man died and kids don't want it etc. I advertised the hell out of stuff, I tried to give it away just to save as much as I could. Sometimes you get a few nibbles, sometimes nobody responds. I crushed 40 Mustangs from 64-69 that were dropped off to me already stripped of all usable items, the rest was too rusty or faded or torn and new parts were easily available, so why save this corroded piece? Stuff like that. But when you pick up the car and it absolutely falls to pieces, it's usefulness is well past gone, it's time to go. I've had professionals go through my stock and thumbs down it. That's what this video is. It's all junk, unfortunately. The question that should be asked is "Why wasn't this stuff saved thirty years ago when it was still useful?"

Indeed. There isn't a scrap dealer alive who doesn't know the value of everything down to the last dime. These cars all appear to be without engines. They were engine donors 30+ years ago, and now they're worthless, rotten scrap shells. Pity, but there you go.

It's hard to see in a video how bad something really is. However I've seen worse than this still on the road. I see definitely some usable parts. The glass looked good and the trunk lid looked decent just for starts.

Why didn't anybody try to save this 63 Chevrolet ? Or at least keep the good parts & sell those.

Oregonized PotHead lots of parts were sold already, and the rest of it was in pretty bad condition.

Noooooooo not the impala man so many good parts gone forever. I would of bought the car from you for 2k. I pulled 2 of them in worst shape 5 years ago and was able to save them. Rebuilt and taken out on weekend drives.

There goes a potential Father and Son build!

"Father and Son Build" Blah Blah Blah. Yeah right, you would have to have your your son lift his face from his smartphone or yank him from the couch while he's playing with his XBox. More like a father project and son doesn't give a crap about a 56 y/o POS car.
