1958-1964 are all the same with the X frame the drive shaft has a carrier bearing inside the frame has 2 bolts at the bottom of the frame that holds the the carrier bearing in place.

That Impala probably has a lot of factory parts still on it I like them cars a lot but I like a hardtop better I never was a convertible type
