How can you not do a Coyote swap in this thing??? It screams Coyote motor. Outside of that though??? Its absolutely perfect. Color, wheels. Interior, stance, EVERYTHING is flawlessly done.

Hands down the Sexiest year for this car. They kept them streamlined with the grill coming to a point. Its perfect. No matter what angle your looking at it. I cannot stand the 65 front end. This is how a Lincoln is supposed to look. My next Fav from this year is the the 1963 T-Bird; another sexy at any angle car.

I can't believe they stuck a GM motor in this.. it at least deserves something from the family.. I don't have anything against LS motors, but Ford makes some awesome engines.. Gorgeous build.. Better music also..

Agreed. Maybe the newish 7.3 Godzilla - a pushrod big-block, available as a crate engine. Or a built-up FE, or 460.

The other Motors aren't as plentiful or price friendly as a LS. Thats why mot use it for motor swaps

@@davidmiller4594 I agree, however, based on my understanding you would have to totally modify the engine bay to put a coyote engine. Plus it's much more pricey.

@@victoreagleton4947 Just the mounts and a trans cross member. There's a lot of used coyotes out there. Making it not much different than the ls. I'm sure the choice was personal for this build. We're just critiquing the switch from major factory brands, saying "we" would have kept it "true". At least in a factory brand perspective.

Just my opinion but I would have liked the build more if it wasn't a Chevy engine . They could have used almost any Ford V-8 from the 60's to present day. Lincoln's are after all made by Ford.

The car is not original any way with the frame adaptation and a multitude of other marvelous upgrades so what gives with the "GM" travesty? You could not find a better bunch of experts to do a build-out on that car. Would give anything to own that Conny with the Chevy motor. Out Fn standing!

Beautiful job. The work under the Lincoln is impressive. The color iffy, but beautiful paint work. The interior is disappointing, the original gauges are awesome, these are an ugly travesty. Also a fail on the revised upholstery design, why mess with original perfection? Love that it is now a true hardtop, removing the bolted-in-place center bar and using convertible rear side glass. All in all gorgeous.

I agree 👍.. the air ride and Mickey Mouse looking wheels make it look anemic.. But the builders will build you whatever you want, since you're paying for the anemic look..
