Back in the 1960's, my Dad told me our Government Department of Lands & Forests bought about 50 of these from 1964 to 66, All dark green, and eventually sold them off at auction after their miles got up there. Used to see them on the roads decades after, still clocking along, one tough old truck. A few folks here still call the color Government Green. Cheers

That park ranger green with white bumpers - just a classic 60's look. 10K is a VERY fair deal for a great example. Thanks for all the killer content and the laughs! On my 66 GMC, I kept the 15 inch rims it came with, and put 205/70r15's on the front and 255/70r15's on the rear. The 255's are the same diameter as the 235/75r15's it had so the speedo is even right. That gives it a raked front look like an old 70's muscle car. I like it.

I like the analogy you made when pointing out the worn spots on the door where the guy rested his arm, I could visualize and see how the paint was worn over time. I like the fact that its all there and the truck was treated like a favorite pair of old shoes. You did some nice subtle touches on a budget to make it more desirable. I think the stance is perfect with just the right amount of rake. The asking price is well worth it for a runner with all new brakes and clutch for someone to have and enjoy as is. Good job brother.

That slip followed by the "hope we got that on video" comment was almost as good as the Pott County slip in the snow followed by "pimp down, turn in my coat!"

Nice looking truck. Do not drive through fresh picked cornstalks, don't ask. I'm the guy who found an old railroad spike in a quarter section field and wrecked a fairly new tire. She was toast. Merry Christmas

As you know, I am a huge fan of these ol GM offerings. The new rigs, not so much. To bad about the no ride along, we can do that later. The ride quality of these is really insane. you are right about fixing all the body panels on this episode, we can see some of that frustration later on. I hope when the weather clears we get to see what the efforts yield. Be well.

Rule of thumb… 2 wheel drives should be lowered a little, 4 wheel drives should be raised a little. Looks damn good now… Bravo!!!

Even my wife, who doesn't particularly care for lowered vehicles, seems to like this one. I really like how it came out too
