Thank you for posting. She's a little rough but the bones are all there. I have been involved with restoring a Jaguar powered Lewis (with no clutch-just direct drive- bit of a handful). The motifs of the Lewis clinker hulled boats are all over yours. The quadrant type cable operated rudder, the fibre wheels that take the cables from the steering wheel back to the rudder, drive to the prop going from what would ordinarily be the front of the motor. Got the rare, mariinised , water jacketed exhaust manifold, right hand drive(they are awkward to drive) Need to check the crankshaft thrust bearings as they take all the thrust in this set up. They obviously didn't have modern gauges or crappy steering wheels like that.. Someone has gone berserk with the marine carpet, which they didn't have in the day, but I guess it is practical. Make sure it isn't trapping moisture underneath it. Alternators can spin in any direction and will work just fine.

@@nkelly.9 thanks for your message and I've never seen or heard of a Jag motor in a boat before, and thanks for your advice on the alternator. Appreciate it immensely.
