1965 Backdraft Racing Shelby Cobra Final review and Test Drive

Check out our newest 1965 Backdraft Racing Cobra. This cobra is finished in Black with Silver racing stripes and is loaded with options.
Some of the upgrades include option 1 diamond stitch leather interior, Autometer gauges, glove box, cam lock style Sabelt seat belts, oil cooler with stainless fittings, 3M paint protection, power steering, remote brake and clutch reservoirs, Ray dot mirror, etc…
One option on this cobra that really stands out are the chrome dipped wheels. It took a little while but was definitely worth the wait. The wheels look incredible and make the cobra pop.
The biggest option on the custom build was the 500 plus horse power motor. The motor is a Ford 427 with the Borla 8 stack fuel injection system. It’s a ROCKET-SHIP!! The stack just completes the whole look of this car.

This cobra has the upgraded 4 point harness seat belts. We tuck them behind the seat for the video and pictures.

@@JMCCobra - That's very reassuring to hear! I am currently building the Agora Models 1:8 scale die cast metal 427 Cobra S/C and I ordered some optional harness markers for more realism. In case you haven't seen this model check it out - I believe it is the one and only Cobra done in this huge scale. Body, chassis, wheels, suspension, engine and trans are all metal, assembled using machine screws (28 diff. sizes!) and weighs 15 pounds. The price will clue you in on how detailed and well-built this kit is. $1,500.

Spoken word volume is next to nothing. My volume all the way up & have headphones on and just barely audible. However, music is blasting away when it shows up.
