Amazing how Hararian outfits has changed from genuine Hararian cultural clothes to completely Arabian outfits. Hijab was never being worn in Harar or anywhere in Ethiopia. How sad is that Hararis leave culture of their own to adopt the other culture. Which has nothing to do wearing the hijab with the Islamic religion..

@@johngeorgian1302 this is their everyday type of clothes, they are not dressed up. In the colored version of this video you can see them still wearing the colorful clothes. Their dressed up clothes are still worn today. But the newer generation has started wearing for more jeweled fabrics instead of the less jeweled original ones. But both are still worn today Mx as well as these home clothes they are wearing in the video. Our grandmas still wear outfits like this everyday

Compare this one that happened in the last century - to be specific some 57 years ago and Iran. Muslim women were and are free. And this happened in Ethiopia Harar region. This clearly demonstrate the plight of Iranian girls and women. Shukran lak allah eazim🙏🙏 Why this girl is forced to change her traditional Hair Dress to Amhara dress, even though I am Amhara, I am not happy with it and I assure you Harar and Hararian , we are always together.
