Biggest handicap with the 1966 Chevy II is the (stupid) monoleaf rear suspension . Add the L79 to it , and zero traction results . 13.07 @ 105 ? That's damned good !

My 66 nova with a DZ302 with 3.31:1 and a 200-4R trans/3500 converter is faster than that. His short times must me bad/spinning cuz that combo should put him in the 12s unless he’s running manifolds. Who knows. Either way they’re awesome, lightweight cars that are an absolute blast to drive.
