There was no mistaking the sound of a Chrysler starter back then!

No there wasn’t, and it is my all time favorite sound! Did you like it?

Dad had a ‘66 bought in ‘67, probably. I think it was the best car he ever had. It was my favorite, anyhow.

Levi Heizer : Was the distributor wired right? The firing order of a big block Chrysler is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 counter-clockwise. I had a 1972 Newport with a 400. That was the firing order of that engine. The firing order of a small block Chrysler V-8 is the same as a big block, but clockwise. Maybe your timing is off. I hope you got that beautiful car running right.

The bloke starting the car looks like a young Bo Duke from the back, with that hair.

It sound like there is slack in the timing chain.

Nice however you pretty much prove to everyone that they’re should be videos on KZbin on how to convert from carburetor to throttle body fuel injection!
