Great kit and a great review too. Can't wait to see it built up. Looks great. Have a great day!

This was originally s Lindberg kit, so no AMT parts. While the phone truck was a light duty half-ton, this tractor is very heavy duty. Its short wheelbase chassis and driveline is very well detailed.

I tried to build this kit a few years ago, the instructions were mostly in text, I never could figure out where the battery box went, it was a nightmare. Needless to say , it went in the junk box. It’s good to see more clear instructions. I’ll be looking forward to your build👍👍

Those wheels are "Dayton" wheels. I love that side view.

Looks like they cleaned up the tooling from the old Lindberg releases. I still have one of those in the box somewhere; I built up the trailer but not the cab. Might have to refer to these new improved instructions if I ever do tackle it!

It is really nice to see two 60’s Dodge trucks. We have tons of Chevy’s and Ford’s, but only four Dodge truck kits. It would be really neat if Round 2 had included some more of the “66” decals so you could build a race car to go with the truck and trailer. One of the Modified Stockers would look really nice on the trailer. Nice unboxing. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Chris keep up the good work on modeling builds. My name is Michael Reynolds and I have watched your videos. I saw your hair and I have not seen your face 👀 on the KZbin channel.

Hello Chris and plastic modeling friends! I'm in love with DODGE trucks, especially because they have spoked wheels, that's what we call Trilex and Dayton in Brazil! AMT was super kind in relaunching this wonderful LINDBERG Kit, which is super detailed. Nowadays, you no longer see KITS with this detail. Here in Brazil it is difficult to get kits like this, firstly because of our currency, which is very devalued to the dollar. I got an L 700 with an old fuel tank trailer from Testors/Lindbergh that I'm still going to assemble! I really want this new AMT kit! A big hug from Collector Cleber.

Hell Chris, built this kit years ago under the old IMC label. Not a kit for a beginner, with lots of fiddly small parts. Lindberg had this one with tankers and various flatbed trailers. Nice to see it return under the Round 2 label, and, the tooling still looks very crisp for an old kit.

Using fingernail clippers work excellent for trimming flashing on very delicate parts. Cant wait to see this! Not really a Dodge guy, but I really like the "pie tin" headlight bezel Dodges 👍👍

This kit has been around for quite a long time and is definitely NOT for a beginner. One rendition came with a '40 Ford, which may be where those steelies came from.

Interesting how you call the drive section the tractor, in Australia we call that the prime mover, a tractor here is a farm vehicle. I guess it's different strokes for different folks
@randytaylor125811 ай бұрын
Technically, it goes back over 100 years. A stationary was often called a donkey engine, but when they became mobile and self-powered they became known as traction engines, or tractor for short. Prime mover was the term for the unit hauling a heavy gun or howitzer.
@BlueGillage11 ай бұрын
We also call farm equipment tractors here as well.
