Hello everybody.
This is me, replacing the factory radiator with a new aftermarket one.
Not a long time ago, I have drained all the water from the previous radiator, filled it with coolant and thought it was all good to go.
However, after doing that the engine would quickly get really hot even when driving with nothing attached to the tractor.
So, at first I didn't think much of it.
But as soon as I started working intesively on it, things got even worse.
The water temperature sensor is new, so the information in the temperature tachometer is accurate.
Thereby, I decided to buy a new radiator.
This one it's made by a company called QTP (Quality Tractor Parts).
I am pleased by how good the Ford performs now, even at heavy duty tasks.
The coolant temperature is now steady, and the tractor runs amazing.
I am so happy for the result, and I hope you find the video useful.
This changhing procedure also applies to other Ford tractors.
Last but not least, please consider subscribing and liking the video.
That would be a great reward for me.
Thanks all for watching.

Helllo Dave. I subscribed today. I have a 4000 from 1973. I live in Brittany France .Looks like you have an external pump on the pass side. Mine is internal. The tractor was manufactured in Belgium, has 62 HP, quite a bit more than the US model. I have to change the seal on my three points top cover. After installing a one T weight on it (I installed a loader last year), now it slowly drift down after lifting. Once you do a radiator job you must change all the hoses, the water pump and thermostat. These items are cheap but are essential to a good cooling system. I dont have front fenders on mine I guess you are in the US??
