1966 Honda CL160 Scrambler

Decades ago when I lived in England, I owned a CB160 street bike. My introduction to biking. 55 years later I'm still biking!!

Had a 1966 Honda CL77, 305cc twin when I came back from Vietnam . Looked almost identical to that 160.

From Honda , attention to detail , performance , ease of maintenance and build quality from bikes of the 60.s was second to none they sounded and looked good ...... compered to what else was for sale sale the time , these bikes were and still are a revelation .

Hondas were just incredible. The 125, 160, 305, 350, 360 and on and on. All great bikes. Reliable, cheap, easy to maintain, what a shot they were in the 1960s and 70s' motorcycle world.

Beautiful classic with a gorgeous paintjob. Would be great, for a teenager to learn how to ride a motorcycle on, especially if they live near a beach town.

I had this bike back in the way back early 1970s it was truly dependable and bulletproof. Even have a photo of myself on it back in the day. Ride to live live to ride 🏍️🇺🇸

I was7 my bro had 3 shops. Jacksonville, Wilmington and Myrtle Beach. I still remember the radio add. Cycles Inc. 1009 lejune Blvd Jacksonville NC! You meet the nicest people on Honda.

Electric start on a CL160 means it is 1967. The 1966 did not have electric start because it had a one-year-only engine guard that did not make room for the starter.
