I’m fascinated by what’s behind the scenes on gauge clusters. A lot of creativity went into the lighting, the layering of lettering and backgrounds. The Cougar/Mustang dash is pretty straightforward, but some like Thunderbird, Imperial, Cadillac gauge clusters are actually very complex artistic structures. Thanks for this video!

Is the instrument cluster regulator available? If memory serves me correctly it controls both the water temperature and fuel gauge.

Thanks to Don I removed my 70 dash. Not in any way am I a mechanic. If he had not made a few of his videos that I viewed, my cat would not be prowling. I value all that I've learned from his knowledge!!! Thank you, everyone, at WCCC. Keep it going !!!

Instrument voltage regulator. Supplies the 5V needed by the gauges. If you're in there taking things apart upgrade to the newer solid state IVR that WCCC sells.
