I’m fascinated by what’s behind the scenes on gauge clusters. A lot of creativity went into the lighting, the layering of lettering and backgrounds. The Cougar/Mustang dash is pretty straightforward, but some like Thunderbird, Imperial, Cadillac gauge clusters are actually very complex artistic structures. Thanks for this video!

Fantastic and as always, well done. You’re the lifeblood of these vehicles, Don.

Wow that was a lot of pieces. I now understand why they switched to a circuit board in later years. Thanks for a great video!

Oh sweet, I found this channel again! The Cougar is so much the better looking car between it and the Mustang in the early years, in my opinion. And it is awesome to find people keeping them going!

Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Dismantling the Dash Cluster still seems a little daunting. I think I could do it, though, by playing back the video step by step.

Is the instrument cluster regulator available? If memory serves me correctly it controls both the water temperature and fuel gauge.

Thanks to Don I removed my 70 dash. Not in any way am I a mechanic. If he had not made a few of his videos that I viewed, my cat would not be prowling. I value all that I've learned from his knowledge!!! Thank you, everyone, at WCCC. Keep it going !!!

Would it be possible to create a quick video that describes how your trade process works? I've got a 69 factory bench seat core that I'd love to see go to a new home but I've never known how to get the trade/store credit process started. Thanks!

Whats a IVR ? Thanks Love your informative videos

Instrument voltage regulator. Supplies the 5V needed by the gauges. If you're in there taking things apart upgrade to the newer solid state IVR that WCCC sells.
