How many people commented on the fact that this was a DB6 and not a DB5 before they actually watched the video? Jeez people, it's addressed in the video! The guy is living the dream, he HAS a classic Aston Martin, the rest of us should be so lucky. BTW, the production values on these videos are fantastic, I enjoy them immensely.

I didn't want to sound too snarky, but it seems as if some people surf KZbin just to find a mistake they can comment on, regardless of the actual content. Also, I was serious about your productions: very well executed. Like "Mr. Rogers" for gear-heads.

This has quickly become my favourite car related KZbin subscription. Honestly enjoy watching these episodes more than I do watching any uk top gear. Excellent cars, great documentation and awesome camera shots. Really looking forward to the next episode

The DB5 is completely out of reach for just about every Bond fan. So, this is what this chap could afford, and it is the next best thing. One could make the case that in 1967, Bond would have driven one if his next adventure wasn't in Japan. Perhaps the DB6 was in England during the YOLT assignment. It's a stretch, but, hey, this is all fantasy anyway. Then, 2 years later, he drove the new DBS. I'm building my DBS to OHMSS spec. No, its not the film seen car, but in better nick than either of the 2 used in the film. I would like to see more of his collection. Looks to be some rare props. I'm looking for any OHMSS props. Great job, live your dream.

Amazing video, pay no attention to the haters saying its a DB6. It doesn't matter, I didn't even notice it wasn't the DB5 until it was mentioned in the video! Still an amazing piece of work and a simply stunning and beautiful machine. He's done an awesome job at restoring it.

DB5 is what James Bond drove, I would personally take the DB6 with the 4.2 engine.

Absolutely bloody awesome. This and the DeLorean episodes are my favorites. I don't know how you find these people but I'm damn glad you do. And I'm so envious of the owners - thanks so much - if you can't own one, at least we can enjoy them thanks to you!

21 years ago I worked at a shop on a DB6 Vantage Volante. There were 7 built. Prince Charles owned 2. There is 1 in Canada and I believe the only 1 in N. America (but things change). I could not believe the weight of the constrcution, the seat frames made with oak, the leather, wood aluminum. Everything so massive. The car had to weigh 5-6000 lbs.

theAFICIONAUTO Looking forward to it! Keep up the great work. Sometime next year I want to start telling stories about cars and their owners. Similar to yourself and Petrolicisous but in the UK. I want the videos to be beautiful though and so far my skills are lacking but I'm determined to get there.

Late 80’s had a chance to buy a DB6 for about 18k. As you can infer, I figured that no way was I dropping that much on that car. Chalk it up to another of my many mistakes.

Very well put together videos; looking forward to watching more. The 70's Charger bit from F&F1 caught me even though I'm more of a European fan; still respect American muscle (especially such a nostalgic classic).

I actually prefer the look of the DB6 to the DB5. Kamm tail on a car is one of those things that just can't hate. I think the DB4 looks better than either though. Looks more balanced.

I just wish Aston hadn't changed the rear window shape for the DB6. That more blocky looking window takes away from the car's lines.

Evidently this crass Californian is far more of a 'Collector' than he is a 'car-lover'. I think he feels cheated in not puting up the $mil for a DB5 or DB4GT. I love the DB6 in dark colours and bright colours , anything but 'silver-birch' so sad he needs to be a little boy pretending. Its like those women who degrade their poodles puting them in tutus for walkies. At least there's no irepairable mods. Still worth $350K. Sorry. it's my favourite car of all time especially a Vantage with sunshine roof. It doesn't have to be apologetic for anything. It evolved from the 5 and moved foward. sad sad yank.
