Ultra-rare 427, 4-speed, posi with factory air conditioning in a Biscayne! #s on the motor, trans, rear, and trim tag match. It was frame off restored to factory specs except for the modern version of the rally wheels. This gorgeous muscle car came from the famous Horton Classic Car Museum. Mr. Horton was known for his passion of #s matching rare vehicles. This is nothing short of fantastic.
EXTERIOR: Laser straight body and panels. All the gaps are correct, the doors shut like a new car. The paint is outstanding. Black shows all the flaws, but you’ll be hard pressed to find any on this one. It’s like looking into a mirror, the reflection is deep. All the glass looks crystal clear. The rubber trim moldings, and stainless trim looks replaced. Everything looks excellent on the outside. It’s been tastefully upgraded with Billet rally wheels with correct 67 center caps and radial redline performance tires. The correct T3 headlights were used as well.
INTERIOR: The no frills interior looks like new. The door panels, handles, and window cranks all appear new. The padded dash is really nice, and the instrument area is great. It has a complete set of factory gauges including a tachometer and dash a working quartz movement clock. It is a factory air car which is very rare, all the original controls and vents are there along with the original radio. The original 4-spd shifter and ball are correct for a bench seat. The front and back seats appear to be reupholstered and in great shape. The headliner looks replaced and has a working dome light.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Now under the hood holds the 427-385 hp big block. We documented with pictures the correct codes, dates, and matching VIN #. It has been tastefully upgraded with Brodix aluminum heads, a hopped up cam, and coated headers. On top is a GM aluminum bow tie intake and original style dual feed Holley carb. The correct fuel line, valve covers, and air cleaner were used as well. Air conditioning was ordered and is factory to this car! It even has power steering that turns with ease. It is very tidy, proper, and detailed.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The enormous trunk is completely clean and rot free. Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted really nice. The trunk mat is there and rolled up so the trunk floor doesn’t collect moisture. It has a working trunk light, bag for the original jack, and the spare tire has been restored and sits in its correct spot. A reproduction tire has been installed on the spare wheel.
UNDERSIDE: Rock solid undercarriage! This was a body off frame restoration. The front end suspension and steering components all look to have been rebuilt/ replaced at time of restoration. The dual exhaust is fitted with an H pipe and Flo Pro performance mufflers. Looking up at the motor it's spotless and is paired with a high torque starter. The original type brakes were rebuilt, the parking brake is hooked up. Fuel and brake lines were replaced. The fuel tank was replaced. Looking up at the motor it is spotless and has a high torque starter. The transmission is the correct Muncie 4-speed manual with matching vin of the car! The rear suspension all looks to be replaced as well. The Eaton 12 bolt posi rear end is fitted with 3.55 gears, and a panhard bar and has correct date and code for this car! The chassis is detailed. The floors are so nice they were prepped and painted gloss black!
SERVICE: This gorgeous Biscayne went through our on-site shop and the following was serviced: The carb adjusted, reverse light fuse and wiring, shift linkage adjusted, tachometer rewired, speedo cable replaced. Also, an alignment was done to ensure this car drives straight as an arrow down the road.
This is presented to us as a true original Tuxedo black 4spd big block Biscayne. The more time we spent studying it, the more fascinating it became. It’s unique, different, and a very high quality car. It’s a hopped up muscle car that’s fun to drive but also restored to it's true identity!
A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.

My favorite cars are the 65 to 70 full size Chevys. And 427 , 4 speed, rallye wheels and red stripe tires. What a gorgeous car. You made my day. Thanks so much, Jay! PS you should tell Caleb to let the car idle instead of reving it so much. When it has a cam like that, let it idle. Not being critical, but I think most people would agree

Neutral and use the brakes. Race school guy explained it as don't downshift for a light or stop, use the consumable cheap part, the pads and shoes, not an expensive part like the clutch and engine.

I would love to have this even if it was just in fair shape. Probably the best black paint job I've ever seen on one of my favorites. This was a rare ride even in 1967.

Absolute epitome of a real 60s sleeper. Perfectly optioned in, out. I've loved the 396s and 427s since their intro. I got to ride in a 427 Vette, and these engines will do the job. This car will be gone in days Great find. Kudos to its next new owner.

That is one beautiful & badass '67 Biscayne! I'd easily choose this car over a '67 Impala SS or SS 427. From a powertrain & chassis perspective this is identical to an SS 427 only in a plain-jane (and arguably a more sinister looking) wrapper. What an awesome bowtie, Jay! BTW - for some reason I've always preferred the taillights on the 67 Biscayne over the Impala, and I really like that the "Biscuit" doesn't have all the gingerbread trim pieces you'd find on the Impala or Caprice. But, whoever ordered this car new wanted to go fast inconspicuously, yet ordered some options you'd normally find on an SS 427 or even the Caprice. Way cool!

My dad had one of these back in the day. It was an auto though. He had built up the 427 quite a bit in the early 70s and street raced the hell out of it. If anyone knows of a silver 67 427 in Wisconsin that may still have the trantula intake, headers, large cam, etc it's probably his old one.

My father ordered one in 67, just for racing. Biscayne ,427 with a 4. In Tuxedo black. At first I wondered if this might had been his. Until you said factory air. Nope. He said back then they called them BisQuicks! God, I wish he'd kept it.😢

The Biscayne was the lowest priced full size car that could be purchased from GM. Most of them went to fleets… taxis and police cars. These rare ones with a factory 4-speed and 427 were optioned for drag racing and purists would even order them with radio and heater deleted and rubber versus carpeted floors… anything to reduce weight. This example never looked this good from the factory.

It's like a 65 Buick Riviera and 66 Chevelle had a love-child! At 05:46, as soon as you finish saying, visor and mirror, freeze the frame. Look at the top of the drivers door frame. There is a space of chipped paint and slight rust. Do you see it?
