As usual a great video by Thomas! Personally not a big fan of the big headstock, still a beautiful guitar.

I believe a ‘67 should have an East Indian rosewood fretboard, the switch came in ‘66.

It's more likely that the bridge or neck and middle pickups were switched out, given the colors not matching. It also has a 5 way, so obviously, the electronics have been gone through. Both Leo and CBS were cheap MFKers, so still having some Brazilian around it would have gotten used up randomly. Remember CITES regulation just meant they had to source from a different place. They were never using woods they thought had the greatest sound. Just what resonated, was hearty enough to hold the hardware together, and a player preferred weight, to some extent.
