1967 Lincoln Project Update 15 Jul 2024 Cruise Control Work

I worked with George Borrelli via phone to troubleshoot the servo. I was able to test everything and prove that electrically, the servo seems to be fine. There is a small leak where the case cover attaches to the case body. It's supposed to be air tight. So, I've smeared RTV sealant all around the edge to see if that might fix the issue with the lack of an accelerate function. I have to let that cure for 24 hours, so a test drive will happen tomorrow evening.

George is incredibly detailed! It takes someone like that to even attempt to go through one of these servos. These servos were never meant to be serviced either so it's pretty amazing he can get them working. Yeah, we'll see how the test drive goes tomorrow evening.
