Just a gorgeous example of Mopar excellence. I have always liked the '66-67 Sport Furys/GTX. The swept roofline and great BBs make them great cruisers. A++ buddy.

My Father bought one of these in 67, but it had burgundy racing stripes and a burgundy interior. My Mother used to drive us to High School in the 80's in it and all the kids whose Mom's had new Taurus's would say "What is that old piece of junk?" ....Yeah, OK. 👌Father held off on selling it till he found the right home and it was properly restored and brought back and shown to us a few years later. $1500.00, I still remember.

No console and a column automatic shift. On the other hand it has a 440, chrome rims and red line tires, A/C, and I think power windows. Nice clean ride.

I had one like this in red which I bought new. Mine had the 4-speed with console. No AC was available at the time, so yours must be an add-on, which is highly desirable. mine was a good performer. Yours looks pristine.

In the mid-70s I saw 1 of these that had been used in a demo derby, made me sick! It was a 4-speed. I took the GTX emblems off the front fenders, still have 'em.

THE 67 CHEVELLE SS , 67 CHEVY IMPALA HAD NICE ROOF LINES AND INTERIORS , BUT THIS 67 PLYMOUTH GTX WITH ITS OPTIONAL 426 HEMI WOULD SMOKE EM ‘ ALL , CHRYSLER CORPORATION WAS THE LEADER IN PERFORMANCE FROM 1957 - 1971 !!!

Super Commando...they used to have the dumbest names for engines back then. Cobra Jet, Turbo Jet, 440 TNT....sounds cartoonish.

@@clintwalker6389 440 TNT was put into Chrysler cars; Super Commando was Plymouth; and Dodge had the Magnum. I know the 70 Chrysler 300 had a 440 TNT, as did other/only Chrysler branded cars.
