Shout out from southern California, well done! Thanks for the videos and lots of good advice and pointers. I will be undertaking repaint of my 77S in about a year so I am doing research and gathering all tools I think I will need. Can you talk about the paint sprayer you are using, and maybe point out pros and cons. Thanks in advance and looking forward to your next vid.

Hi Glenn 77S awesome car! Lots of luck with the painting process What color will you be painting? Ill be doing a video a bit down the road as I get closer to finish paint talking about different equipment pros and cons. As for now Im using a Fuji Q4 turbine system. I've had several and they work great for all primers. Pros on this one is quick clean steady dry air. also easy to set up and clean up for the primering layers cons not great for large areas or super fine work. warm air tip temps can be an issue if you are not use to a turbine system. I would score it an 8 out of 10 Well worth the money if you do a lot of outdoor spraying Finish gun will be a SATA digital and 3 stage filter system ..very expensive

Hi Mike ! Another question... Didn't a lot of overspray end up on the underside and in the wheel arches ? Or messed up your carport ? It took me a while before I noticed: you probably had to crawl out through the front window after masking the doors and the quarter windows ?

Hello Remco Primer stage isn't too bad for making and overspray. The masking can almost entirely be done from outside the car. I first start with any impossible inside masking areas and then work outwards. As far as overspray goes the primer doesn't travel far. Primer heavy and won't likely make its way in places you don't want it. However its a complete different story when spraying clear coat. It really needs lots and lots of masking time and sealing out everything. Clear coat will find its way into everything and travels quite far. If things aren't covered in the spay area they will be coated with clear and its tough to get off once cured.
