With the recovery of Detroit, I have to ask why the gov't doesn't want investors. I've been trying to move my business from Australia to the D and purchase a school in the D which can't be bought. My business is training based with a property investment offshute. The property side pays for Technical and Further Education. i.e mechanical and mettle work.

A reno is what I'm looking for. The kids will learn whilst rebuilding. Eventually to have qualified carpenters and boilermakers, that's my dream. I'm not a citizen as the restrictions are tough. I can only get 12 months in Canada then 12 mths in the US. as I'm over 35.

My work is mostly office based. I do require people to pick up rent and property manage. This will all lead in to TAFE (technical and further education). Not a factory but a center for those who want to improve there knowledge. I'd also encourage a men's shed. For the old guys to come down and shed their knowledge.

You should take your money back to Australia. You're putting good money into a real bad city. As soon as you buy your building, scrappers will break in and take everything out of it to be sold at the local junk/scrap yard. Detroit is a constant sewer. Multimillionaire families of Ford, Gilbert, and Illitch bought up all the good property for pesos on the dollar and created a gold mine for themselves. Downtown Detroit is the only area that's got anything going for Detroit. Outside areas of Detroit are garbage 🗑 and open fields of no opportunity. No neighborhood growth, just more empty buildings and home structures. The homeless people don't live in Detroit anymore. You don't even see stray dogs or cats in the streets of Detroit anymore. Even cockroaches and bedbugs left Detroit years ago. All you have now is the little Munchkin mayor Mike Duggan standing on plastic milk crates behind a microphone 🎤 yelling to the top of his squeaky voice, "Detroit is coming back." Yes, it's coming back. Back to be the ribbon farm area, it was originally before Cadillac docked his ship and stepped off at the foot of now Woodward Ave. The poor people stuck or wanna stay in Detroit now grow flower or vegetable gardens where homes and businesses USED to be before the riot and after people just walked away from living there. Leaving behind their home and their business. Because nobody would buy their property. Imagine that. Leaving behind the family home and memories for street 🐀 to strip and burn to the ground. Whenever anyone in the South Eastern Detroit Michigan area flushes their toilet, the shitty and pissy toilet water swirls through the pipes directly to Detroit. Detroit is one giant sewer. After the summer of 1967, the once beautiful city of trees became the murder city of the nation, and it looks like Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined. Bagdad looks more appealing to live there than Detroit. Thanks to the 1967 bros and hoes of 12th Street and Clairmont. They finally got the city you always wanted.

If Detroit is such a great come back city, how come none of these Channel 7 TV reporters actually live in Detroit today? If they love Detroit so much, why aren't they living and raising their families in Detroit today? Detroit is a sewer today like it was the day after after the smoke and flames went out in 1967.
