Drop dead beautiful black Cadillac! The white walls put it over the top!.

Super 68 ! Calais was the base model Cadillac......I owned a 67 Coupe DeVille..... the 68 is the same style with minor touches...all 68 US cars had to have lighted side marker lights by law for 68..... I liked the 68 year much better.....improved door mirrors.....beveled trunk and the new Cadillac script C letter on front and rear trunk......also bigger engine for 68.....my 67 was last year for the 429 cu in engine....also wiper blades were hidden under front hood...my 67 was sitting outside hood.....My 67 was deep maroon with black vinyl top....she was a looker....Cadillac was the Queen of the road back then......American Icon motor car .... Take care all !!

you are right ... the 69-70 Caddy's had the ugliest plastic dash and steering wheel....check them out.....I owned a 61 rag top...64 and 67 Coupe Deville's.....these were pure Caddy's ...big girls of the road

Insanely beautiful. This was my dream car when I was younger; it had everything I wanted in a car in one sleek package. Stacked headlamps, concealed wipers, fender skirts, chrome fins. I've had to settle on a 1:43 model; but maybe someday...

Yes very true. The Calais was actually the entry-level Cadillac back then. Nice to see it was equipped with Power Windows . Hard to believe now but Power Windows were not a standard feature back then on the Calais. Even up to the 70's you can find Calais with roll-up windows. This is an absolutely gorgeous Cadillac.

I had a 68 Sedan de ville in the mid 80's, it was relatively good shape and I paid $1,000 for it. Back then it was simply an old gas guzzler which nobody really wanted. I did enjoy the car despite it's thirst, it was rock solid on the road, if you passed a semi the wind didn't shake the car.

Dutch Van Helsing right around 30 thousand US dollars. you would pay big bucks to have one imported to you however
@dutchvanhelsing66716 жыл бұрын
Yep ! Beautiful. I shipped my car over from Virginia as a temp import as I was just visiting the UK. It was $900 and I drove it on U.S. plates for a year. I guess one could always say they paid a little less for the car so the import tax would be lower......why should I pay tax on something that I pay with cash that was already taxed ??? I will keep an eye out for what you have..I thing the El Dee's from 67 to 71 are my first choice. tnx
