You did a good job. The top looks tight all around the car. Please tell me who made the top was in the USA and where did you order the top from ?

The 14.5” measurement on the back bow is the only critical measurement. Everything else is trail and error. As you can see from the video I used the wood blocks cut to length to maintain the measurement. For me at least the convertible top was pretty difficult. Getting all the wrinkles out was extremely painstaking. It just takes time and a lot of patients.

No, this was my first time. Lots of trial and error. You can do it with lots of patients.

Did you get the front and back welting in the classic industries package? Some kits don't have them included .

Yes, the Classic Indistries kit came with everything I need. Welting front and real, pads, back window, window well, and the top. Only thing it didn’t come with is the wires/springs for the sides.

Where did you find information on how to adjust the frame on the conv. top? We are checking our measurements the best we know how.

I couldn’t find any information on the frame adjustments. Basically I just adjusted it until the front header panel lined up with the windshield well. Also checking to make sure the quarter window glass and door glass still line up. I Wish I had a better answer for you, it was all a big guessing game.

I'm in the middle of a GM B body scissor top install. Been doing all my research. It has to be one of the worst jobs I've ever done. Never ever again! Too stressful.

I know your pain. I told myself that I will never do a convertible again. Getting the convertible top right was miserable.
