My aunt and uncle had a 68 Caprice wagon, loaded. Power everything, 396 engine, in seafoam green. They had that car for years.

Learned to drive in my parents '68 Caprice wagon. Was dark blue with paneling instead of red. 327 V8, auto. Hit 50 in 1st, 85 in 2nd. A workhorse. With seven kids, full of groceries twice a week. Cruised an easy 85 across Nebraska toward Aspen in '72.

An old American estate wagon like this is my dream car, hopefully they're still around by the time I have a place to park it and work on it.

Love this wagon. My friend has his late folks Chevrolet Kingswood Wagon they bought new. My mom's 68 2 door Impala has a 327 V8, but she has it stored in her dad's barn and the mice are starting to bother it. May have to eventually junk it. What a shame, she always babied it.

We had a car just like this when I was growing up - right down to the color combination. Ours had the rear facing seat. We used it to pull our camping trailer for weekend camping trips and vacations to South Carolina. We upgraded to a 1978 Dodge van in 1980. I miss this car. Thanks for taking care of a piece of history. I can tell you love this car about as much as I did.

Awesome wagon. We had a Bel Air and would take trips from Los Angeles to Corpus Christi, Texas. Ended up moving to Texas and in 1974 my dad sold the car. Tough finding any chevy wagon especially for $2500.

GROOVY GROOVY. There is something really attractive about this car. The tail end of this car looks really great the way the wood-effect makes those rear lamp bezels stand out and enhances them. I never used to like the vinyl wood panelling effect, but of course, that was when everyone else Did ! Thanks for sharing this. Peace = )

Nice wagon! I picked up a 68 Caprice Estate wagon a couple years ago but its a little too rusty to restore. It originally had a 396 in it which is long gone.
