Hi from the UK. just watched all of your charger videos and looking forward to the next instalment, I'll be starting a '73 Mach1 Later this year and have about the same amount of metal to replace, I've been watching Fitzee's Fabrications and have learnt a lot from him, he has some videos on the perfect butt weld, how to do trunk rail repairs and windshield frame repairs, could help you out with some great tips, he's been doing metal work for 30 years. I must say you definitely like the 68 charger I've got a 68 that was scavenged for parts but the floor pans all the rad support windshield post is all very solid the spring shackle mounts could you some attention but other than that is a solid car

the fender gaps wide on one side and narrow on the other indicates the front end is skewed slightly to the drivers side. measure the diagonals from reference points on the body to the front corners of the clip and only weld it in when they are equal.

So I take it that the mystery delivery were the 2 front fenders and some other things? If so, I saw the dent on the passenger side front fender, which shouldn't be a problem smoothing out. Looking good. Did you take some X measurement both vertical and horizontal to help verify the fitment? I would suggest mounting the doors since they have the least amount of adjustment room.

Typically 16-20 for most. I used some leftover rocker material I had for the frame repairs in this video. It was 16 ga.

No, the panel I received from amd is excellent. The passenger fender was on marketplace for $300. I had to jump on it! Needs a little love and hammer dolly work but it should turn out just fine

Yep not very long... but a LOT of welding in that time. Doing patches and installing sheet metal doesn’t take too much experience to do. Practice on a floor pan. You’ll be a pro once it’s in!
