nice to see another video from you ... hey, regarding the rotisserie mount for the rear, for what it's worth, when I had my 68 on the rotisserie, I just had flat bar bolted to the bumper holes as you described in your video - I welded the flat bar to square tubing that slipped over the tubing off the rotisserie. It had plenty of strength, with all the panels on the car and me inside the interior, it was plenty strong. could save you the extra work of bringing a bracket down to the rear frame rails that you mentioned.
@rustbucketrestos65112 жыл бұрын
I was looking at that too. That would be much easier!
@garageforcerestos2 жыл бұрын
@@rustbucketrestos6511 one other thing to consider - if you're going to paint it while it's on the rotisserie (as I did), the less obstruction from the rotisserie the better. Just my two cents... all the best.

I love your attention to detail when it comes to your car bills. The only request I have is that everybody is doing a Mopar or a Chevy or a Ford . If possible I would suggest that you find for your next build something that looks really good that is not your common hot rod so to speak.

You're right to take your time and build the right support plates for your rotisserie. Those B-body Chargers were sizable cars. Might I suggest you research other company's adapter plates and make sure it fits the Cuda's rear as well as the Charger. E-body front ends were, in essence B-body front ends, but the rears do differ. Dying to see the underside get the fixed nuts welded in(aftermarket K-frame, etc)and everything prepped for undercoating. Hope all is well with you and yours. I cannot believe life hasn't gotten in your way more than it has, but you're still young. Can't tell you the projects life has deep sixed on me, but you still get to finish stuff anyway, if you know which is worth it and what to sell on, as is. Enjoy the summer and take those boys fishing or camping somewhere.....and of course your long suffering, best apprentice you'll ever have, wife. Malcolm Ottawa Valley
