Absolutely beautiful, second to none. The sound is brutal, just wish there was better video quality. I love these cars, own a mildly tuned street 68 with three pedals.

Restored cars look like that. Time was when SEFAC Ferrari Prototypes looked like they were painted with rollers and a broom! In a very big hurry....by the janitor... I still loved the V-12s! I used to hang around the pits and paddocks Sebring and Daytona, 1964 -1972... Penske cars were WAY better tuned out, but not concours stuff! Sunoco 512M of 1971, for example.... Porsche, TOO! Works of art! Mercedes Benz did this from 1935 to 1955... Immaculate!

XD That car was dipped in acid. Then the Penskes installed a rollcage so people wouldn't go "hey, it's gonna kill the driver when it crashes!" Got disqualified after the acid incident tho...

Do y'all use the leaf springs or did they pull them out and throw in a coil suspension?

Had to use the leaf spring set up in accordance to the Trans Am rules of the day.

AAR Eagle Engineer Gary Wheeler (Traction Masters) produced a rear axle placement set up based on Roberts linkages, which produced a straight up and down movement.... Not an arc. It eliminated roll steer, bump steer and added anti-sqat... James Roberts was a 19th Century English Engineer. Working with steam engines and factory machinery.. The complicated linkages needed needle bearings in this application. The set up was banned by the SCCA after Sebring '68... An authentic car will show the mounting holes for the pivots... SEEN in some videos of it... I saw the cars run at that race.. Cornering with the Porsche 911s thru the Green Park chicane... And thu the sweeper on the way to the Hairpin.... Very solid! J.C.

I think this car had the FIRST rear axle placement system BETTER than the Ferrari GTO's!! A system Ferrari honed over more than a decade.... Using leaf springs, 4 Koni shocks and several placement arms... ARB.... VERY good on a smooth track. A with D-Type Jaguars solid axles... Amazing 4 wheel drifts by Pedro Rodriguez Wining the 1964 Daytona Continental 2000Km. Against the AC Cobra Coupe... I was there.... Thru 1973...
