My father had a 68 with a 383 mag 411 detroit locker 4speed Trans that car was super fast not to mention it would smoke the tires God only knows that I wish he would have had kept it but had times had other plans ty for sharing the video brings back alot of memories

Your Dad must have had a roadrunner as the GTX only had two engine options. Stock engine was a 440 and the only option was the Hemi. The 383 was exclusive to the roadrunner or optional Hemi.

In my opinion, this is one of the most handsome Mopar designs and models ever. Adam 12 on steroids.

I had a virtually identical model of this car back 1970. The biggest problem was that the motor created so much torque when it was pushed that the front end would twist and partially dislodge the windshield. Only discovered this when driving through the rain and having a very disappointed passenger as the rainwater was spraying on her.

GTX should have factory gauges such as the tach i thought. Have to see the build sheet and all the numbers before i paid as much as they want for cars. Looks nice. That wasn’t to the floor.

Tachometer was a option on the GTX.

Paint code says TT1 which should be Avocado Green. Sierra Tan poly is what it looks to be on the car. so not original color.

I HAD YHE 68 GTX WHEN I WAS IN HIGHSCHOOL ! THAT GTX HAD THE 440 , W/ 3 SPEED AUTOMATIC ! HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT FOR THIS ONE ? BEAUTIFUL CAR ! HOW MUCH ?

Well Jay great car. You definitely had my interest until he said no power steering. Being spoiled most of my life with this feature I would hate to be driving it and forget I didn’t have it and hit another car,tree,or light pole.
