Nice series on this procedure. My '68 C10 just had its rearend rebuilt with upgrade from 3:08 open differential to 3:42 with an Eaton Posi. I love working on this old truck, but wasn't sure I could do the job myself. Its fascinating to see how it all works. Glad I found your channel

Your video is perfect. Thanks for your help but you don't show installing the ring gear. Mine is tight to the carrier. I'll have to press or tap it on. Is this normal?

Yes, the rig gear is usually a tight fit
