I like t-striped hoods on these. it looks badass. but as a novice about vehicles, that probably comes out in 70 or 71 i guess.

Love the car. love the color. My first car in 79 was a orange 70 SST Javelin. It was orange also, That was 30 AMCs ago. I'm wondering what paint brand and color code is your paint. I have a 70 AMX shadow mask it needs a lot of work and is white with black mask. I hate the color combo and want to change it to Orange. I also just picked up a 70 Javelin that also is in need of restoring. 232 car but no drivetrain and looks like it was in a derby. the demolition type. would also want to use the same paint for it. kind of like going back to my youts. Beautiful car .

Had one, 1968 AMX #00926 Center Dash Badge. Red with White center stripes. Trying to find it again.

I HAD A 68 WITH 390 4 SPEED HURST 2 SEATER WITH SERIAL NUMBER. BOUGT IT FOR 1600 BUCKS IN 78 AND SOLD IT FOR, DONT HIT ME NOW 400 DOLLARS. BIGGEST MISTAKE, STILL BOTHERS ME AFTER ALL THESE YEARS. MOTOR WAS IN BAD SHAPE.
