@@fred-ts9pb some of the key identifying bodywork is from a 68 but the bones are from 69. Had to make do back in the 80s!

@@Huston189 Thanks. I grew up at the end of the muscle car era. Had/have a 68 fasback mustang with a Boss 351 Cleveland it it with lot's of goodies for a late 70's, early 80's motor. Solid lift etc. Put the motor together. Knew your car looked like a 67 or 68 knowing the 67 had a vent window, but assumed you would have removed it for what you were using it for. I miss those days. Brother has a very nice 69 Z28. Other brother a 65 fastback Mustang.

@@fred-ts9pb This footage is my dad and his brother, the older 1989 race are from when he raced for ‘real’. I grew up with this car always around and once he got done racing he built a proper 69 camaro. Definitely a Chevy family but love anything from that era. Built my own 94 camaro not long ago because of the world I grew up in but it’s certainly not the same as it was back then

@@Huston189 I like the 94 Camaro body style. Like you, I like them all from that era. I liked the Mustangs back than, but found out real quick when building motors for it that parts were more expensive and not as much of a selection as for a SB Chevy unless one wanted to pay big bucks for them. We lived outside Chicago for a few years in the early 2000's, and i couldn't believe all the old cars they have have up there. While riding around one evening I passed what i thought was a 9" ford rear end along the curb trash night. I raced around the block and picked up a narrowed 9" with welded support across the center along with 4 link brackets , bars, joints and disk brake brackets. No center section. I may use it someday. I enjoyed your video and especially the sound of the cammed motor. I was/am running a .590 lift, 320 duration cam in my 351C. Can't remember the overlap, solid lift, 4 bolt block with Boss 351 closed chamber heads and 12.5 compression, but haven't started it in over 10 years. I miss the sound. Nice street motor from the very late 70's. Still have the tunnel ram i had on it from time to time. Nine inch rear end with Detroit locker and NASCAR 450 gears from Holman Moody in Charlotte NC when they were changing locations in 1979. At the time the walls were lined with Boss 429 bare machined heads for $60 each. Of course with my lack of funds back than while building the 351, I didn't pick up a few sets. Ha!! A little tidbit of history. Sitting at the door of their location was a Ford 460 boat motor built for King Hussein of Jordon. I believe he had been overthrown during the Carter years and never received it. Your video just ended and I enjoyed listening to it while typing. Thanks.
