We are pleased to bring to your attention one of the most desirable vintages, the 1969 model, a milestone car which is very popular these days (to the detriment to the virtually similar 1968 model). Our offer today is a Convertible dressed in the Monza Red, a one year-only color (born Cortez Silver). It came from the factory equipped with the optional L46 350 engine rated at 350 HP, which is available separately, including the original heads. Presently, car is endowed with a mid 80s Small Block 350 engine, which still maintains many original parts like alternator, starter, exhaust manifolds, intake manifold and, possibly, the distributor and carburetor. Other options include: 4-speed manual transmission, Tilt-tele, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Air Conditioning... Car had an older off-frame restoration with approx 4K since, and received a new correct Monza Red paint, just four years ago as seen in pictures. Interior was upgraded to Leather, all carpeting, door panels, dash, etc are new.
Undercarriage was freshened up in 2017 with new bushings, rear springs, shocks, exhaust, brakes, etc. Also, all PS components were renewed at the time. Vacuum headlights operate properly, momentarily, the vacuum operated wiper door is not functional, but it is being worked on it. Gauges and instruments are functional, radio works, also, the fiberoptics are in working order (!).
Present owner, a long time Corvette enthusiast, took very good care of it for the last eight years. Car comes with the original matching numbers engine block and heads, a set of radial tires and a lot of records and receipts.
