1969 Dodge Charger was my first ERTL Toy Restoration. I love the details of the old ERTL toys and this project was a nice break from the Tonka Restorations that I normally do on this channel. If you liked this video, subscribe to my channel and comment on what other types of restoration videos you would like to see!

@@CaptOrbit They did make General Lees with that same unit (approx 1/16 scale) and a brown plastic ramp, resembling a mound of dirt with matching tire tracks in it. I've had three of them, including the one from my childhood, but I've never seen a General Lee this size with the pull-back/friction motor. All the ones I've seen just free-wheeled. They also had a rubber-ish push bar on the front. Now I'm interested to find out if they made them with the motor, also.

Great channel...and great work (I subscribed just now) BUT (and I mean this as constructive critcism) That roof dent really...REALLY bugged me lol. Plus, the rear wheels maybe could have used some paint? Not sure how mangled they were. Also, I would have sanded down the edges along the rear roof line. It looks sharp around the stamped sheet metal ends. I wont comment on color choices. It still looked nice. Just those minor issues. I get it that theyre for fun, and Im kind of binging your channel lol. So therapeutic while being sick. I watch other shops repair full size cars and I always feel like I have to get back to work.... Also, I loved model cars, and building them, and still have a massive collection. So I would love to set some time and get some specialty tools just for this...maybe when I retire Ill find the time lol. Again, I hope that my comments are seen as constructive. (Maybe its a thing to leave them as is?). Tone online isnt always well communicated. So if Im wrong as it is a thing then, I learned something!
