1969 Ford Mustang 428 Cobra Jet Mach 1 Restoration

This 1969 428 Cobra Jet Mach 1 Mustang is a rare Mustang. It was an Introductory Show Unit the District Sales Office diverted to the Dallas Memorial Auditorium for the show per the original Ford Invoice! All show units were built the same, R code 428 CJ, C6 automatic transmission, 3.50 traction - loc rear axle, power steering, drum brakes, Candy Apple Red with black interior, and chrome wheels! This Mach 1 was purchased on the Bring a Trailer site and unfortunately you'll see it came with many surprises, including the fact that it did NOT have a 428CJ Engine! This Fastback was built 08/16/1968, enjoy the restoration!
