This would be my dream car. When I was young I bought a 1968 Torino GT Fastback for $175.00 up in Montana. Was Factory Maroon. Had a 390 block with I believe we're 428 heads....stock 390 exhaust manifolds didn't come close to fitting the heads on the motor. That car never, ever gave me a lick of problems. It wasn't quick but would bury the 120mph speedo with ease. I have owned more cars than I can count, I worked in a junkyard at the time and traded it for parts for my Stockcar. Giving up that GT is the biggest regret I ever had as far as cars go. Sure wish I never gave it up. This build in this video is beyond excellent. It's a masterpiece. GOD how I wish it was mine.

@RayPlant774 жыл бұрын
@@deluxairhead I saw a build recently that was almost at this level, maybe just as good, but he left it bare metal. He had 16,000 hours in it. I wouldn't be surprised if this surpasses that. Maybe 20,000 hours? At $100/hr for this level of work, that's $2m!!!
@deluxairhead4 жыл бұрын
@@RayPlant77 Yep I get the bucks per hour but who's going to pay that kinda money for this, yes its well worth it as its basically brand new, the 69 fastback is freekin incredible also, I'm on to this channel its wild........

Amazing craftsmanship ! I can hardly imagine the cost , the man hours involved , but the hardest part is just to imagine that it's jist a show piece and will never be driven like it's intended to be driven ! Basically yard art ! As much as I appreciate all the skills and dedication , I really would rather drive my creations and enjoy them !

This a great build by Troy! I have a Talladega which has been in my family since new; I've owned it since SEPT 1984. I've gradually restored it to stock over many years. Troy's build is a great contrast to my car. I would love to photograph both cars side by side.

i taught this builder all he knows... lol... just kidding... not much impresses me upon vehicle modifications.... but, this one, is well balanced to what I like to see. of course cleanly done, while heavily modified top to bottom, it hidden exceptionally well to leave a clean but modest appearance , and somehow, still looking aggressive as hell, never mind the sound, which is like hearing the first cry of my son having just been born....Simply put, I am impressed.

What a beautiful design! One day, I would love to own a car like this, over a European sports car and I'm not saying that I don't like European sports cars, because I do. In fact, I have had a couple of them, but looking at something like this masterpiece is just breathtaking. It's such a beautiful and unique piece of engineering and the best part is that very few people could actually ever own one.

This brings back memories because my dad taught me to drive in a green 1969 Torino. I was 13 years old and my brother and I would spend hours taking turns driving the dirt back roads on the reservation that we grew up on. Cops were not allowed on the reservation at that time (only sheriff’s) so we were able to drive the 7 miles into town and then walk around town and then drive ourselves home. Our Torino wasn’t as cool of a car as yours but we were on top of the world..lol

Metal work is outstanding but what is up witth the Cage? Using cheap ERW instead of DOM? Also the a-pillar bar gaps from the a-pillar is massive. Who designed the rear stays to the roll cage? Someone looking for a wow factor from the Kids? Makes zero sense. Like I mentioned earlier awesome metal work. Please hire a Roll Cage next time that knows how to tuck and design. Plus harness bar is to low.
