Same. STYG used to be such a positive band. I don’t really align with their new stuff it’s just too negative and pessimistic on everyone and everything.

@@yourdumbeyes They've always been an angry band. They just don't focus on simply personal issues anymore (depression, domestic abuse, bullying, etc.). They've broadened to wider societal issues, with their main scope being to help oppressed peoples of the world. Of course, the more personal issues that STYG strictly focused are actually inextricably linked with larger societal issues, and that's why they've head in that direction.

It’s wild how a heavy song can make you so emotional. Normally heavy riffs just get me excited, but the riff in Diamond makes me cry nearly every time I hear it. What a band, what an album.
