They're on my list for safety reasons. I got a pair (different make) for my '68 Mustang but the wiring configuration was different. And, being a non-electrical person, that was frustrating so they were returned. I will take another look at headlights down the road.

@@yeethers no halos. Going to miss that car, I sold it and just bought a 2004 Dodge Ram SRT 10 Turbocharged Viper truck with over 900 horsepower !

I did LED on my old 4th gen and it was quite the improvement. Those lights look to really fit with the build theme and even the color scheme. I would sometimes like better lighting on my 68 Camaro, but the car is restored stock for the most part and a low mileage car, so really dont want to mess with it.

What year 4th gen, if you don't mind me asking? I've got a 95 Z28 that I've been looking around at trying to upgrade the headlights (either to LED or HID or something, anything besides the stock halogens) and I'm finding very little in the way of actual upgrade kids...everything I'm seeing are all 'hack it together' things where you have to superglue the original housing onto some new adapter and stuff. Very shitty looking :\

I have Octane housing with regular bulbs on my 78, for now, to change to an LED later, but I am looking at that style LED for my gf Jeep.

I have the exact same headlights as you are putting in. They work great. Nothing but compliments on how they look and how they perform. They are very bright and a nice white light. I have had them in my Camaro for over 3 years. One thing I noticed is that you have new side marker lenses installed. I sanded mine down. Sanded the lip off and all of the relief text that the plastic had. So now they are nice and smooth/flush with the body of the car. Think about it. It makes it look much more stealth.

I have a 80 z-28 and have been contemplating LED's but not sure i want Halo's. Don't really think it fits the late 2nd gen looks. Also undecided on the look i want for my lenses

I was on anvil website...yikes their parts are WAY expensive...the light upgrades are the least costly items..lol I was looking at the non halo headlamps but I'm not sure about what to do about the taillights..I would prefer non individual led bulb look tho...

Sweet setup. So far I'm undecided on the front lights. I have a nice stock setup for the park lamps for now. I've also had my eye on a set of Grote led lights for the head lights, but still not sure. My wife has a JK and I'm constantly looking at those lamps wondering how they would look. Mine is more of an original restoration, but I do like the newer technology. Your car is looking amazing. Keep up the great work!

i assume you will be going with Collector car insurance. I have Grundy on my modded 17 Camaro SS and modded 03 Road King. They were much cheaper then Hagerty by about $600 on the car alone. $850 for $52K agreed value on the Camaro. Just cant drive it to work on a regular basis or to run errands.

That is why I went with hagerty ins, not so restricted on driving it often.

@@otsenres1636 Grundy allows you to drive it as much as you want. no mileage limitation. You can drive it for pleasure across country if you want. If you stop for something while on a pleasure drive thats fine. Id never drive it to the mall or a place like that anyway. For work it says not on a regular basis. doesnt mean you can never. But it was $600 less for grundy and i dont drive it to the places they dont want you going on a daily basis anyway. I thought Hagerty had the same restrictions.

Beautiful car but the core support where the header panel mounts is tweaked the header panel doesn't line up with the fenders, so maybe not tweaked possibly just needs some aligning. Either way will keep watching

More camaro, yeah. not installed on car though? I had LED on wrangler. Adjust them good, people get pi$$ed if you got bright lights in their eyes.
