I'm sitting here amazing at how well this car has been kept! I rode that back seat on family trips in the 70s.. how did you do this?!

I grew up in New Zealand and you probably don't know this, but from the 20s through to the end of the 60s, one could buy a factory right hand drive American car if one desired. Dad had a '67 Chev Impala, which was wonderful.

Oh my gosh! Your car is almost a twin to mine! I have a 1970 Country Squire 429 4V in the same color combination. My car was featured in a KZbin video in May, and you can see your car's twin if you look for the KZbin video entitled "Firing It Up At The Museum: Ford Country Squire". Your car looks to be very well taken care of, and I wish mine had a power seat like yours does. I've had mine since 1992, but I wanted a '69-70 Squire since they were new (when I was 7 years old). Thanks for posting this 'for sale' video, even though you didn't end up selling your car.

May be larger than today’s mainstream sedans and hatchbacks, but this is probably more than enough car for me. Seems as though vehicles were sensibly sized for most families back then, large but not too large. If they perfected the fuel mileage, would be even more perfect.

beautiful Country Squire.. what is the small chrome switch for that’s located on the left side of the driver side instrument panel? (can be seen in the video when opening the driver side front door)

Nice and clean Country Squire! 429/4V WHOW :-) But I wonder about the free rotatin´distributor without any cap and ignition cables. They are in the trunk. What did you do with the ignition and how it works please? Greetings from germany from another CS 429 owner ;-)

Occasionally one can install an electronic kit by 'Pertronix' to eliminate ignition points......let me look more closely at your concern, friend.... .....

Hi, it is running on an EDIS8 from a Crown Vic, using a Megajolt controller. You can see the coil packs on the drivers side firewall and the EDIS8 unit mounted on top of the heater box. I set it up on a rolling road and it works really well.

No, I changed my mind about selling, I put in on the market every now and again after I have not used it for a while, but ironically the act of putting it up for sale gets me using it and then I think to myself why are you selling this, its great. However, I haven't used it for a while now, but coincidentally I have just come in from the garage now from looking at it.
