You would not believe this - I stumbled across this video and to my pleasant surprise it's the Mustang that I now own. The vehicle is now located down under in Adelaide South Australia.I absolutely love this car - I also own a 1969 S Code Mach 1 390 and I enjoy that one as well.Thank you for the excellent workmanship and making this video in which I will download to add to the history of the vehicle.The owner before me had the vehicle entered into the Mustang Nationals in Australia and it won Silver just short of a few points from Gold.I think Aussies love American Muscle more than the Yanks...

BRINGS ME BACK TO THE DAYS OF THE EARLY 70'S. MY MOMS FRIEND HAD A 69 BOSS 302. WE USED TO RUN THE HELL OUT OF IT ON THE WAY TO THE RIDDING STABLES WHERE MY MOM AND HER FRIEND WERE HORSE BACK RIDDING INSTRUCTORS. THEN MY MOM GOT DIVORCED, AND WENT OUT AND BOUGHT A 70 BOSS 302. IT WAS A LOADED MODEL. IT HAD JUST ABOUT EVERY OPTION. I WAS IN THE SIXTH GRADE THEN, AND SHE USED TO LET ME DRIVE IT, MOST OF THE TIME WHEN SHE WAS IN THE CAR, BUT ON 3 OR 4 OCCASIONS SHE LET ME TAKE IT OUT ON MY OWN AS WE LIVED IN RURAL WADDELL, AZ. AND YES SHE WOULD TELL ME TO NAIL IT. FIRST TIME SHE LAUGHED AT ME WITH A SNICKER AND SAID YOUR AFRAID OF IT AREN'T YOU. SHE LET ME BARRY THE SPEEDO. GREAT TIMES IN THAT CAR. THEN SHE TRADED IT FOR A 72 SCOUT 4X4. GOD I WAS PISSED. BUT THEN SHE SOLD THE SCOUT, AND MADE ABOUT 45% PROFIT ON THE ENTIRE DEAL. BUT THE TRADE WAS WITH A FRIEND IN THE AIR FORCE STATIONED AT LUKE AFB. SO WE STILL HAD A CONNECTION WITH IT. AND YES HE BLEW THE ENGINE UP. AS I SAID SHE SOLD THE SCOUT, BUT SHE WENT OUT AND BOUGHT ANOTHER 70 BOSS 302. THIS ONE WAS A STRIPPED MODEL THOUGH. BUT THE KICKER IS THAT THE ENGINE WAS PROFESSIONALLY BUILT AT THE PIT STOP IN SCOTTSDALE, AZ. GOD THAT THING WOULD RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. WHEN SHE BOUGHT IT, IT HAD CONCORD TIRES ON THE REAR THAT WERE THE CLOSEST THING BACK THEN TO STREET LEGAL SLICKS. THEY JUST BARELY FIT IN THE FENDER WEL. THE FIRST TIME SHE TOOK ME FOR A RIDE IN IT, SHE LAYED IN TO IT REAL HARD WHEN WE FINALLY HIT ASSPHALT. OH MY, ENDLESS PITCH BLACK TIRE RUBBER LEFT ON THE ASPHALT ALL THRU 1ST AND SECOND. MAN THAT REAR END SQUATTED, AND FRONT END CAME UP LIKE A FRICKEN PRO DRAG CAR. GREAT THING IS THAT SHE WAS ALWAYS RUNNING THEM HARD. SHE SURE LOVED AND ENJOYED HER BOSS STANGS. BEST DAMN WOMEN DRIVER EVER.

A lot of boss 302 engines had cracked pistons, I suspect from a little bit of abuse.

buddy, I found 1970 in bad condition but it is noot Mach 1 or fastback. it the regular hardtop one, do you think it is worth to build? owner ask me for 8k ( engine broke ) what do you think
