1970 Honda CB100 First Ride Part 1

Incredibly fun even with the shifting and minor carb issues. Can't wait to dial this little bike in.

I had a 72 CB100 same as this one. Took my class M road test on it back in 76. Man I miss that little bike it brought me so much fun and memories. I’ve had many bigger better faster bikes over the years but lil CB will always hold a special place in my heart. 😢 Dang… FB Market Place here I come. 😀

Yep I had one also 1971 or 1972 model. Too many years ago and for me to remember exact year of the bike, but I loved it. It was fun and it was blue and white. CB100

The first motorcycle I ever rode was a 1972 Honda CB100. Same bike but white & red. I got a 1973 Honda SL100 as my first bike & it had the same engine. Very tough engine, I rode it hard for years & had no problems. Wide open throttle it would go 65 until it ran out of gas. The carb is a 22mm Keihin slide carb (not constant velocity/CV) & tricky to rejet if you put on a less restrictive air filter.

My daily rider is a 1976 CB750, but I've always wanted a CB100 just to putt around town on. The ol 750 is a little much for city streets.

Cool, I have a CL 100 1970 Honda, I wonder what the difference is between the CL and the CB 100 's ,do yo know, mine is blue also ? Do you still have it since this was 4 years ago ?

Thanks for viewing. If i recall the CL has the high pipe similar to a Scrambler. I sold my a little over 2 years ago. Ride safe

I believe the CL was kind of an enduro version and the CB was street.
