Very nice build and bike, thanks for the ride. Must be getting cold in Florida. You have switched to sweat paints, and socks with sandals. In upstate NY, 5 inches of snow. And below zero temps this week. Nice!

Did your Kickstarter slip those first few kicks?

Yes - New Clutches in place. Needed some adjusting

@@VintageHondaMinis The new clutches needed to be adjusted or the new clutches fixed the issue? I'm having some slip on the '74 CT70 during start and was planning on just replacing the clutch plates, is there something else I should be looking at for the slipping starter issue?

@@eastcoastish They are new Honda OEM clutches in the video. Adjust clockwise 1/8-1/4 turns at a time to get a good kick over and then test ride. Back it off it lurches forward on idle or is crunchy shifting. You can add some HD springs too if wanted to put some more clamping pressure. This is a higher compression engine so some slipping here and there on kickover. Actually, easy does it => A gentle kick works better than a hard kick.

I had one new as a kid , the frame cracked in a dozen places , and the seat mounts crack away from the seat underside too. Poor quality steel , not chromoly and no rear suspension. I thought poorly of Honda.
