Since there is no information on the web about fixing Tune-Up Towers, I thought that I would give it a go.

I found that bicycle white lithium bearing grease works great on the gears and it isn't as noisy.

I love all the fast and furious movies but especially the first with the orange Supra of Brian. So in 2013 or 14 (im not sure) they released this car in a new series

I have three of them that are almost complete after my restoration. The part I can not find is the metal lever and white plastic knob that goes on the top floor to lift the orange track up in the air for the car to go down. PS-You and Smackeral Cafe Inspired me to collect this stuff. I'm hooked!

You can use the clear plastic page or photo binder page protectors from the office supply stores. Cut out the right size and joint with clear packing tape.

Why red ribbon? Were you trying to simulate the old clear belt moving up the red elevator shaft? Orange might be better color scheme wise. I don't suppose there's some form of clear ribbon?

You are right. Any color could be used. And I couldn't find a clear plastic or clear ribbon substitute.

Smackeral Cafe I found some clear vinyl fabric online, but it might be too thick for this, not sure.

Do you have a part # for the ribbon? I went on reasonable ribbon site and found #005190 lipstick red ribbon! The videos have helped me out a lot! My belt is broken!

You have the correct number for the 1/2 inch lipstick red ribbon. I've done a little bit of experimenting off camera and have not found anything that works better than this ribbon. That said, you must have the spring to keep proper tension on the ribbon. Good luck.

Thanks. I'm going to try to make them myself. I just restored 5 towers thanks to your videos I got them all working! I have a bunch of Matchmakers and Big Belters I'm going to try and make sticker sets for too.
