I am happy to have helped someone with this process and really pleased that you are passing on the hobby to the next generation!!!!! I expected a 50 year old unibody muscle car to have age and damage - I am happy that what I found was relatively minimal...... the original plan was to leave that factory seam sealer stuff alone since it looked "good"... I am glad I dug it off and would recommend anyone else do the same - the only thing it was sealing in was the rust. Instead of adding bolts between the bracing and the inner tub/upper control arm portion of the structure, I will just add weld on the wheel opening side - probably stronger and doesn't show inside the engine bay. Stripping years of paint from every nook and cranny of the engine bay has been a loooong, tedious job. I would do it again though. THANKS FOR WATCHING!!!
