@2024JayZ Yeah, you definitely have to get over there, it's a real cool place. If we meet up over there when the weather is warm, we might be able to get them to take a couple of cars out on the road.

@805ROADKING The hood, fenders, and deck lid are all fiberglass which makes the panel gaps a bit more difficult to deal with sometimes.
@RamblinAround14 жыл бұрын
@machone7I I'd have to look at a few others to see if that panel gap is normal. It's a a high dollar restoration, so I would imagine they put it back just as it was.

They sure did a fine job of restoring that Mustang. It is more than I could afford to restore a car. I be afraid to drive it in case I got in an accident.
@RamblinAround14 жыл бұрын
@azzarbprime Yeah, I'd need a winning lotto ticket to buy it too. Either that or I'd have to live in it...lol It is a beauty though. Thanks for watching!

Looks good... I'm just impressed by the gap there is between the hood and fenders though... Seems like i could put my finger in it...

I restored many vehicles over my past 37 year career...My last Mach-1 restomod was in 2016...650 hours of metal fab,new panel alignment,test fit....5 times before painting it i a sequence...Chassis first....then all the " ilt On" parts....

@machone7I The hood, fenders, and deck lid are all fiberglass which might explain some of the panel gap issues. Thanks for checking it out.

@bisquik3006 I'd sure like to have one. Now's probably the time to buy one, the values dipped a bit with the economy....I'm sure they'll skyrocket again shortly. 1970 was the last year of the Shelby Mustang's of that era. It's my understanding that these were built in 69 and titled as 70's. There were only 286 1970 Shelby's total.

@samspace81 I don't think Shelby ever built a mustang that I didn't like. They are all pretty cool in their own way. Thanks for checking this one out!

@GerryK61 Yep, only 286 were ever produced...that's the GT350 and GT500 combined. They are exceedingly rare cars. This is 1 of 9 with this color and trim combo. Thanks for watching!

@RamblinAround I heard the shelbys had fiberglass aftermarket parts, hood, and probably front fenders... I doubt aftermarket fiberglass parts would fit very well just like todays bodykits rarely fit perfectly.

According to a certain viewer of yours, this car simply doesn't exist, or count, since they didn't make enough of them, lol. I was surprised to see a 351 under the hood. Why don't you just buy you a Shelby brother. It seems you have an eye for them.

Nice, Reason These Seemed So Underpowered is the Autolite 470cfm Carb.,A Holley 600 or 650 Would Have Been A Much Better Choice for the Windsor 351,Which Was Weaker Than the Cleveland Back Then.Hood Seems to Sit About 1/4-1/2 " Too Forward& Messes Up Alignment of Hood Trim,But No Gap @ Rear of Hood @ Valance Panel,So When Restored,Hood Could Have Repl @ Resto or Accident at Some Time.Little High for A Non A/ C Car ,But Low Mileage,If Correct Makes Up For It .UNUSUALLY HIGH RESTO $ FOR A LOW MILEAGE CAR.
